This is my instructor Clayton up
at the NH farm Museum where I apprenticed and learned my trade.
He is a fifth generation blacksmith , extremely capable, and one
of the most wonderful people I know. Here he is symbolically passing
me his Grandfather's Blacksmith hammer. It sounds corny but it
is quite the honor, and I have graciously used it as well (I was
saying as the picture was being taken "Now Clayton, you know
you're not getting this back" and his trademark smile was
and always is a real treat ). |
