In 1910 Pascal M Kelly worked as head forger for McChesney and was his highest paid employee. Kelly's mechanical skills amazed McChesney and he utilized them in his own business producing machines to help make his spurs and streamline production. Kelly's sons and brothers worked along side him in his spur business and he prospered by keeping up with the changing times and demands for spurs-which changed significantly after the depression era. His spurs are quite collectible today and favored amongst spur collectors.
