The Crockett's stood apart from other spur makers in that they came from a cowboy background. Oscar Crockett reported in 1948 that that they had produced over 330,000 bits and spurs during the five year period since moving his operation to Boulder. Crockett's bits and spurs are an attractive collectible today and many are still in use.
